The 11th annual North Fork TV Festival comes back to Sound View October 21-22 for two days of screenings, panels and conversations celebrating independent television. Creators, industry professionals and TV fans come together on the shores of Long Island Sound to discover new pilots and scripts and hear from people working in the business today.
The festival ends Thursday, October 22, with the Awards Dinner at The Halyard. Starting at 6:30 pm, guests enjoy a three-course dinner of local flavors with cocktails, overlooking the Sound. This year’s honorees are Anthony Anderson (“black-ish,” “Law & Order”), who receives the Canopy Award; Kate Walsh, who receives the Ambassador for the Arts Award; and Denée Benton (“The Gilded Age”), who receives the Breakout Performance Award. After dinner, the official afterparty moves next door to the Piano Bar, with a live set by country-pop artist Juna.
VIP Gold pass holders also get access to In Talks With…, a series of small, unscripted conversations moderated by Dade Hayes of Deadline. Guests this year include Kelsey Grammer, Bridget Moynahan, Kelly AuCoin, Melissa Navia and Denée Benton. Rooms are limited during festival week, so book your stay early. Festival passes are available here.
