BY CAR

Driving to Greenport is a favorite road trip destination and takes about 2 hours from NYC. Compared to its Southern Fork counterpart, Greenport’s charm and small-town feel is more appealing and getting here by car allows easy access to local wineries, beaches and restaurants.

From New York City and points south and west: Take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) east to Exit 73. Exit 73 becomes County Road 58 East. After about 5 miles, make a left on Northville Turnpike. At the end of the road, make a right on Sound Avenue. Continue on Sound Avenue east for about 17 miles. Sound Avenue becomes Route 48 and Sound View Greenport is located at 58775 Route 48.

From the New London/Orient Point Ferry and points north and east: Take Route 25 West about 27 miles. Route 25 West becomes Route 48 and Sound View Greenport is located at 58775 Route 48.
