Studio Suite

Our Brooklyn-based designers Studio Tack partnered with a host of makers on our rooms. They are warm & familiar. Floors are made from recycled rubber and every wall is layered with solid shiplap cedar. Colors reflect the sand, the sea, and the sky, while bent metal pays homage to the fishing trawlers that still ply these waters. Most prevalent of course is the water, just out your doors, and quite literally a few steps down to our private beach. A not so subtle reminder that here, the Sound is your constant companion.

The Studio Suite at Sound View is 340 square feet of custom fixtures and furnishings, plus textiles by Brooklyn-based Quiet Town. Each room is anchored by a solid oak framed custom artwork by Bali-based designer John Robshaw, and have floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that provide panoramic waterfront views. Bathrooms are elegant but utilitarian, with floor-to-ceiling ceramic tiles and chrome fixtures from Waterworks Studio. The dining area features marble tables and a Nespresso machine in your hotel room.

We donate $1 for every room night booked to Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County, a local non-profit educational agency established in 1917 to help strengthen families and communities, protect our environment, and foster economic development.
