AREA GUIDE

NORTH FORK AREA GUIDE

As you drive out east from the City, the landmass of Long Island splits in two: on the South Fork are the tony towns of East Hampton and Montauk; on the North Fork, farmland and wineries unroll all the way to the ocean. This is pastoral Americana fueled in recent years by creative folks looking to get back in touch with the land. Nature is in her sheer glory and abundance on the North Fork, a place where you never need to see another soul if you so wish! Then, at the tip of it all is the town of Greenport, which for four centuries has drawn pioneering settlers whom today we’d call entrepreneurs and influencers. No one comes to this fishing town to see and be seen. You come to unplug, to escape, to reconnect, to be one with nature, perhaps even at the point you are extracting the last slurp of a local oyster or spotting the constellations beside a beach fire. Stop by and get lost with us as we rediscover our nature.

ORIGINAL GREENPORT HARBOR BREWERY

Our original brewery and tasting room are located right in the heart of Greenport Village in an 1860’s firehouse that we renovated ourselves. You’ll find it next door to the town’s historic jail. Come upstairs for a pint or a beer tasting.

GREENPORT BREWERY PECONIC

Our larger location is surrounded by expansive fields and working farms, sun-dappled vineyards and inspired by farm-to-table culture. Our big glass doors open up to a beer garden and spacious field that are perfect for lounging and listening to live music with a beer in hand. Throughout the year, the restaurant offers an assortment of flavorful, seasonal food experiences for guests of all ages.
