Juneteenth Celebration and Parade

On Saturday, June 20, Greenport’s annual Juneteenth Parade & Celebration honors freedom, history, and community with a day of remembrance and celebration. The festivities begin at 10am at Clinton Memorial AME Zion Church, followed by an 11am community parade through the village and an afternoon celebration in Mitchell Park featuring live music, spoken word, dance, and drumming performances. Open to all, this meaningful event offers an opportunity to gather in celebration of Black history, culture, and resilience while experiencing one of Greenport’s most inspiring community traditions.
